Carrie Granger
CPV, AAPI & MEIANZ
Carrie Granger’s interest in property valuation was sparked by her first career as a licensed real estate consultant with Peterswald Partners, in Hobart. In 2005, she joined Brothers & Newton Independent Property Valuers and spent more than five years focusing on residential property valuations in south-east Tasmania. In that time, she completed her Bachelor of Business (Property) at the University of South Australia.
From 2011 to 2024, Carrie served as a valuer and policy and project officer for the Valuer-General’s Office in Tasmania. During this period, she earned graduate qualifications in public sector management and administration from Flinders University.
A keen interest in environmental and sustainable business practices led to the University of Queensland’s Environmental Management graduate program, which she completed in 2024.
The launch of Granger Property Sustainable Valuation Consulting, in early 2025, neatly combines Carrie’s 20-plus years of valuation experience, her professional qualifications and her dedication to sustainability.
As a valuation consultant, she is uniquely placed to help businesses address any environmental challenges that are likely to financially impact asset portfolios. All her services incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
Carrie is Hobart born and bred, a former state swimming champion and a classical piano player with a keen personal interest in the environment. She and her husband have raised three children on the city’s eastern shore, where she likes to walk their clever sheep dog Daisy.
